Durham Install
Solar PV, Powerwall 3 & Micro Inverters
Our client reached out to us as they were looking for renewable upgrades to be made to their Durham based property. They wanted to be less reliant on the grid while having the ability to generate their own free energy to lower bills as well as their carbon footprint.
We fitted 16x Aiko Energy 475 Watt, All black panels onto the South elevation of their home. These panels were installed using an on-roof mounting system and paired with Enphase Micro Inverters. The Micro inverters enable each panel to act independently, meaning one shaded panel will not drag down the output of the entire system.
We then installed the Tesla Powerwall 3 and Tesla Gateway, so that the homeowner has a means of storing all of this free energy generated from the panels. This will give them peace of mind as their home can be powered from a back-up energy source during power cuts.
Another benefit is off peak tariffs from companies such as Octopus energy. This will now open doors for cheaper energy to be stored within the Powerwall 3 and help charge an electric vehicle.
