Morpeth - Full Home Renewables Install

Our Morpeth based client was looking to make substantial upgrades to their property in order to reduce their dependence on the grid, all while lowering their carbon footprint.
They reached out to us at EcoFuture to make that dream happen. We provided them with a 16x Jinko 440 Watt solar panel array that stretches across the full length of the West facing side of the property. We also installed 2x GivEnergy 9.5 batteries, a GivEnergy 5kw hybrid inverter and 2x GivEnergy EV Chargers!
For the mechanical side of things we fitted a 12kw Vaillant aroTHERM Plus Air Source Heat Pump along with a fully updated plantroom. The new plantroom included a 300L Vaillant Hot Water Cylinder and a Vaillant Heat Exchanger.

About this system design
Maximum Efficiency

We split this project into two sections with the electrical side installed first and the mechanical portion fitted at a later date. This was to minimise disruption to the clients day-to-day life.
The scaffolding was erected first in order to gain access to the clients West facing roof space, which is where we began to install the on-roof mounting system. The 16x Jinko Solar panels were fitted portrait to maximise space. While the panels were being fitted we also went to work installing the clients all new battery storage system comprised of twin 9.5 GivEnergy batteries and 5kw GivEnergy Hybrid Inverter. We finished off the electrical side of the project by fitting the 2x GivEnergy EV Chargers.
We returned at a later date to work on the mechanical part of the job, where we fitted a 12kw Vaillant heat pump and full plantroom system. The plantroom was separated across two areas of the property with most of the works installed inside the loft space. The mechanical works were planned around the customers family life ensuring heating and hot water facilities were uninterrupted as much as possible.
Our customer will now see the benefits of a home fitted with a multitude of renewable technologies all working together. Not only will their carbon footprint be reduced but they will no longer have to depend on the national grid for their energy supply!
System Benefits
Our client has benefitted from the following improvements thanks to their new
Maximum Savings
Install benefits explained...

Our client opted for All black solar panels to cover the West facing roof of the property and paired with a GivEnergy package. This included 2x 9.5 batteries, double EV Chargers and a Gen 3 Hybrid inverter.
They will now be able to generate their own free (and clean) energy directly from the sun and store it for later use with their battery storage system. 47% of their energy will actually come from solar, meaning they will be less dependant on the national grid.
As a bonus they will also be able to charge their electric vehicles purely on solar energy with their new GivEnergy EV Chargers.
Their Air Source Heat Pump runs at 400% efficiency and provides the property with full heating and hot water. The heat pump will draw power from the solar panels and batteries which means a further reduction in co2 levels and our client can save more on their utility bills!

How did we install this system?

The project was installed in two parts, electrical first and then mechanical at a later date to avoid disruption to the clients day-to-day life. The Solar PV system was fitted quickly and efficiently without any disruption caused, and the scaffolding was erected before this without blocking access ways to and from the property.
The battery storage system was installed inside the clients garage space, which was fitted without any issues or disruption. This was followed quickly with the installation of the 2x GivEnergy EV Chargers.
We returned at a later date to work on the new heating system. The heat pump and plantroom were fitted at the same time and with disruption kept to a minimum for the household. The heat pump was fitted without issue and the plantroom was connected together from loft space to the cupboard where the cylinder was located.
After each section of the project was completed we provided a full handover and commission of the system with the homeowner.
