Newcastle Full Renewables Package,

Our Newcastle based client wanted to make home improvements in order to make their property as eco-friendly as possible.
They reached out to EcoFuture for a full home renewables package that will take care of their energy requirements whilst providing 100% of heating and hot water. We provided them with a Vaillant aroTHERM Plus 12kw Heat Pump, with a full plantroom consisting of a Vaillant 250L Hot Water Cylinder, Vaillant Heat Exchanger Module and Underfloor Heating System.
For the electrical side of things we fitted 12x 440 watt Jinko Solar Panels with bird guard as standard. To store their energy for later we also installed a GivEnergy All-In-One battery (with GivGateway for whole home back-up) and a Gen 3 GivEnergy 5kw Hybrid Inverter. We also installed a GivEnergy EV charger for their garage space.

About this system design
Maximum Efficiency
We started the project off by focusing on the Solar PV installation, located on the East and South facing side of the property. We erected the scaffolding to reach the roof and started fitting the on-roof mounting system, then began attaching the 12x 440 watt Jinko Solar Panels.
The second stage was the installation of the GivEnergy Gen 3 Hybrid Inverter and battery storage system in the garage space. Our client opted for the GivEnergy All-In-One as it delivers 6kW charge/discharge, making it ideal for heat pumps and backup during outages. While the battery storage was being fitted we also installed the GivEnergy EV Charger externally next to the garage doors.
After the solar and battery stage we began installing the clients all new heating system. We installed the Vaillant aroTHERM Plus Air Source Heat Pump in the back garden, with piping running into the all new plantroom which is located in the clients garage. While the Heat Pump and Plantroom were being installed we also began work on their underfloor heating system.
We love seeing multiple technologies working together to create a renewables powerhouse and this project is no exception. The client can now generate their own free, clean energy and store it for later use during power cuts. The addition of a heat pump also means they will never be without heating and hot water.

Our Newcastle based client opted for a 12x 440 Watt panel system, GivEnergy All-In-One with whole home back up, and a GivEnergy Hybrid Inverter. This pairing of technologies means they are able to generate a clean (and free) supply of energy directly from the sun and store it up for later use with their battery storage system.
Not only will they avoid power outages and take advantage of off-peak tariffs, but with their GivEnergy EV charger they can power their car purely on solar!
Overall they will be avoiding roughly 1 ton of Co2 per year, which works out to be the equivalent of 34,926 km by car or 25 long haul flights avoided!
As for the heating system, their brand new Vaillant 12kw aroTHERM Plus Air Source Heat Pump provides 421% heating efficiency. The high efficiency from the heat pump paired with their new plantroom and Underfloor Heating means they will easily control the temperature of their home, and have a constant supply of hot water.

How did we install this system?
First thing we did for this project was erect the scaffolding to begin the roofing works. This was completed quickly and without any issues, or disruption for the homeowner. The Solar PV was installed as an on-roof system and done so efficiently and hassle free.
The battery storage system, GivGateway and Hybrid Inverter were installed and completed on the same day as the Solar PV.
The heating system which includes the Air Source Heat Pump and full plantroom were all installed within the garage space, and with no disruption to the homeowners daily routine.
A full handover and commission of both Electrical and Heating systems were provided on the same day with the client.
