North Shields, North Tyneside - Solar Panel &
Battery Storage Install
Battery Storage Install
Our North Shields based client resides in a large, new build property from Story Homes on an estate that is a short distance from the town centre.
North Shields is a town in the Borough of North Tyneside in Tyne and Wear, England. It is 8 miles north-east of Newcastle upon Tyne and borders nearby Wallsend and Tynemouth.
They reached out to EcoFuture for Solar PV and Battery storage solutions and wanted help future-roofing their already modern detached homestead. The battery and inverter would either be installed in the clients garage space or externally in their sizeable garden area.

About this North Shields install
Maximum Efficiency

The first stage of this North Shields install was to erect the scaffolding to gain access to the roof area. The scaffolding was set up quickly and efficiently without blocking any entry ways into the property.
The second stage was installing the Solar PV system. The 6.96kW solar panel system consists of 16x Jinko Solar, 430w, All black solar panels which were spread across the West facing roof of the property. These panels were fitted on roof using a Renusol VarioSole+ mounting system with matching black bird guards attached to the edges of the system.
The third stage of the installation was fitting the all new battery storage system with the inverter. We fitted a GivEnergy 9.5kw battery alongside a GivEnergy Gen 3, 5kW Hybrid Inverter.
We completed the solar installation quickly and efficiently with no issues or delays. The battery storage and inverter were also fitted without any disturbance to the client.
System Benefits
Our client has benefitted from the following improvements thanks to their new installation:
Maximum Savings
Installation benefits explained...
Our North Shields based client went for a full 16 panel solar array system with battery storage and hybrid inverter. This renewables combo working in tandem means they will see a significant reduction in their energy bills and carbon footprint.
The new 6.96kW Solar PV system will generate free clean energy from the sun and run it directly into the clients 9.5kw battery. This means they will be able to store energy for later use or as back-up power for emergencies, giving them the ability to be less reliant on the grid.
Not only can our client generate their own energy, but they will be able to utilise off-peak tariffs offered by companies such as Octopus Energy. This opens the doors for them to store power from the grid at cheaper times and use it during busier periods when they need it.
We can estimate an annual saving of £921.00 on their electricity bills and an annual carbon reduction of at least 1 ton, which is the equivalent of 27 long haul flights or planting 243 trees!

How did we install this system?
We erected the scaffolding as quickly and efficiently as possible without causing disturbance to the client or blocking any exit/ entry points to the property. Once the scaffolding was up we split the installation into two sections with the Solar PV being fitted first onto the West facing roof.
While the Solar PV system was being installed we also started fitting the new battery storage and inverter into the clients garage space. This section of the installation was carried out without disturbance as the roof works was done externally and the customer was not using the garage space at the time.
We finished this renewables installation with a full handover pack given to the client and commissioning of the system.
