New vaillant arotherm Plus
air source Heat Pump Rules!
Did you know that new Government legislation has been passed to make Heat Pump installs now easier and more flexible than ever?
On the 29th of May, new permitted development rules came into force to help streamline air source heat pump installs across England.
The Key changes from this are:
• Installations now allowed within 1m of property boundaries
• Volume limit raised to 1.5m³
• Two aroTHERM Plus units permitted on detached homes
• Air-to-air systems (including cooling) included
• Updated MCS 020 noise standard referenced
I think we can all agree this is a huge incentive for homeowners who are thinking of purchasing an aroTHERM Plus Air Source Heat Pump, but may have been put off from previous restrictions that were in place.
